Seven Georgian Think Tanks Named Among World`s Most Financially Transparent. A report released today by Transparify examines the financial transparency of 200 think tanks in 47 countries. Transparify analyzed funding information disclosed by these organizations and rated them with a 5 star rating system ( with 5 being highly transparent). As was the case last year, the following these Georgian think tanks received the maximum rating of 5 stars, Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development named among world`s most financially transparent.

The CIPDD new policy publication is addressing the internal and external security challenges facing the six Eastern Partnership countries, including policy recommendations for international actors, for the Eastern Partnership countries governments and other stakeholders.

The policy paper was produced ahead of the NATO Warsaw Summit in the framework of the CIPDD project Security Alert on the EU`s Doorstep supported by the EaP CSF Re-granting Scheme. The aim of the project is to raise awareness about the EaP security challenges and  develop comprehensive vision for the region.

The paper will be presented tomorrow on 21st June in Warsaw at the  the Polish Institute of International Affairs.

On June 13-14, Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development held a roundtable discussion on the topic: “Church and Politics” in the following cities in the regions: Zugdidi and Batumi. Discussion speakers were: Levan Sutidze- “Tabula” Journalist and Ghia Nodia- Chairman of the Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development. The discussion was attended by civil activists, students and regional media representatives. The public discussion was held in the frame of the project “Religion, Government and Society”, which is funded by National Endowment for Democracy.
