CIPDD resource centre received a synopsis from Civil Society Institute "Citizen Participation in Self- Governance".
In this survey authors analyze existing practices of civic participation, publicity and accountability in self-governance units. The authors examine the options and attitudes of the local self-governance bodies and civil society representatives.
More than 700 books, magazines and articles can also be found in the resource centre on the issues related to decentralization, including: political and financial aspects of this process, public participation, examples of countries from Latin America, Asia and Africa.
